Luis Barrios

Luis Barrios Sanchez excelled in academia from a noticeably young age; he studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Universidad Iberoamericana and then earned an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin.

His entrepreneurial vision became evident in 2002 when he launched Hoteles City, an innovative hotel concept focused on the business travel market in Mexico. Under his leadership, it became one of the largest hotel platforms in Mexico, transforming the industry and attracting the attention of major investors. In 2023, Barrios successfully sold the five brands developed by Hoteles City to Marriott International, marking a milestone in the company's history.

He recently led the transformation of Hoteles City into Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, a company with more than 20 years of experience that offers a wide range of services, from hotel investment to tourism project development and technological solutions for hotel management.

Leonardo Schlesinger

Leonardo, who recently assumed the position of CEO in Norte 19, has more than 30 years of professional experience in the United States, London, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. He has worked in multinational companies as well as in renowned Latin American and Mexican companies where he has held leadership and senior management positions.

He has served as CEO of Aliat Universidades, an educational platform with more than fifty thousand students on twenty-seven campuses. His operational, financial, and technological experience will complement Norte 19's new strategy. He has worked on the boards of Amanco, Masisa, Tresalia, and KIO Network, and has participated in private equity advisory projects with Advent and other funds. His active participation in the Mexican business community, in the World Economic Forum, and his experience in the financial arena will be of great support for his leadership to contribute significantly to the growth and development of the Company.

Holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the London Business School, as well as several other business administration and management certifications from Harvard and Yale Universities.

Alberto Granados

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry. In 2004 he joined the company as General Manager, and since then he has held different positions that have allowed him to learn about the company's operations from different angles. Currently, as Chief Operating Officer, Granados has contributed his vision and talent to help Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 achieve its national and international growth objectives.

His main responsibilities are focused on maintaining continuous improvement of internal processes to support growth and operating performance; reinforcing service business practices and training programs by implementing innovative operating and service ideas; and conducting a cultural transformation to maximize the efficiency of the more than 150 properties that Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 operates.

He holds a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism from Universidad del Bajío A.C. (now Universidad de la Salle Bajío) and a diploma in Management Skills from Universidad Iberoamericana.

Santiago Parra

With more than 15 years in the company, he has demonstrated his experience in business development and corporate finance in different positions. Parra joined the company in 2008 as Manager of Corporate Finance, a position he held until 2011 when he assumed the direction of New Business Development, being in charge of the feasibility analysis of the Company's investments, as well as the international expansion of the company to Central and South America.

In 2016, he took on the responsibility of Chief Financial Officer and finally, since 2022, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Administration Manager of Hoteles Norte 19.

Before joining the team of Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, Santiago Parra was a member of the mergers and acquisitions team of Grupo Modelo S.A.B. de C.V. where he participated in the joint venture between the brewery and Nestlé Waters for the distribution of bottled water in Mexico. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Carlos Adams

In 2002 he joined the company as Franchise Promotion Manager to promote the concept of the innovative model in the hospitality and real estate industry. He currently works at Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 as the New Projects Manager where his main objective is to promote the hotel operation and management scheme, the development and equipping of hotels, as well as the technological platform of Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19.

Adams began his career in the tourism industry in the family business - Adams Tours de Mexico, dedicated to travel from Mexico to the United States and Canada. In 1992 he joined the hotel industry as Franchise Manager at IHG, where he remained for six years. He later joined Grupo Fratur, a primary franchisee of the Days Inn and Howard Johnson brands, as Franchise Manager.

His experience has been focused on the promotion of franchises and the structure of hotel projects throughout their development process, and he has been a key element for the team's portfolio of more than 150 hotels, 17,000 rooms, and five hotel brands located in four countries. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the International School of Tourism and the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA). He has more than 30 years of professional experience in the sector.

Paulina Mendoza

She assumed the position of Advertising Manager at the company in March 2020. Since her arrival, Paulina has been in charge of leading the advertising area motivated by her commitment to build and promote the image of Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 through campaigns and promotional tactics that are aligned with the identity and needs of the current market. In November 2021, she was appointed as the new Marketing Director.

Thanks to her more than 30 years of experience dedicated to a prolific career in hospitality, Paulina stands out for her admirable leadership as a result of her expertise in managing portfolios composed of diverse brands and advertising campaigns recognized nationally and internationally.

Before joining the team of Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, Paulina was Marketing Director for the Americas portfolio at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she worked for 9 consecutive years. In addition, she has more than 20 years of experience in management and brand management positions for several hotel chains in Monterrey and Merida.

She graduated with a degree in Marketing from Universidad del Norte and holds a diploma in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2017, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) in Mexico awarded a recognition to Paulina under the Jean Berthelot Honorable Mention.

Baltasar Artero

Baltasar Artero has been leading construction, business development, and project management teams in multinational companies for over 20 years, in sectors such as hospitality, industries, and airports, in projects with a high technological component, in several countries in Europe and Latin America. In 2017, he joined the company as Construction and Development Manager.

Among his standout achievements are the development of new business models, the implementation of new methodologies for economic control in construction, and, within Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, the construction of more than 50 hotels and 40 remodeling projects worth over 500 million dollars, with a total budget deviation of less than 5%.

He is an Industrial Engineer (MSc), holds an MBA from IE Business School with a postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Construction.

Danae Zamora Solorio

She has more than 15 years of professional experience, mainly in the hotel industry, where she has developed commercial strategies for different companies in the travel industry in Mexico. Her focus has always been on growth and innovation, which has allowed her to stand out in a highly competitive market.

She is currently responsible for merchandising more than 150 properties operated by Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Chile.

Within the company, she has consolidated commercial projects to define a commercial strategy by brand attributes, region, segment, and traveler profile, ensuring a personalized and effective offer for each client. In addition, she has led key initiatives to improve the customer experience and increase brand loyalty, implementing loyalty programs and CRM strategies.

She has worked closely with sales and marketing teams to align objectives and maximize the performance of promotional campaigns.

She combines her extensive knowledge of the hotel industry with his deep marketing expertise to position Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 in the national and international markets. Her ability to identify market opportunities and her ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies have been fundamental to the company's sustained growth.

Mónica Narro

In 2011 she joined the company as coordinator of Marketing Programs and Strategic Alliances, to take the lead in the creation of strategic alliances. Soon after, her experience in strategic communication, government, and business, made her a key player in the implementation of the Public Relations, Strategic Alliances, and Sponsorships department for Mexico, Latin America, and the United States.

Among her main responsibilities are the creation and execution of the external communications strategy, crisis management, institutional coaching for senior management, and the positioning of Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19 in the media and with its different audiences; she is also an active member of the company's Sustainability Committee.

She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Intercontinental and a degree in Fine Arts from the Gilda Solís Art Studio in Mexico. She has collaborated with different media outlets, including Inversionista magazine and Mundo Médico.

Francisco José Fabregat

He began his participation in the hotel sector in 1998 and later joined the company to take over the management of the telecommunications and systems technology infrastructure, including its operational applications.

At Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, his main objective is to streamline business processes and through an information flow automation scheme, improve the operation and provide support to the company in a secure manner. With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Mechanics from Universidad La Salle, Fabregat has more than 20 years of professional experience.

Adolfo Márquez

Adolfo brings 20 years of experience in Corporate and Integrated Security to Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19. Since joining the company in 2015 as Corporate Security Director, Adolfo has been responsible for ensuring that the properties operated by the company meet the highest standards of safety, security, hygiene, and biosecurity.

Before his role at Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, Adolfo was Corporate Safety Director at ONEST Logistics, and Risk Prevention and Health and Safety Manager at Universidad Tecnológica de México. He is a graduate of the Universidad de Administración Abierta (UNAM), with a postgraduate degree from the Universidad del Valle de México in Skills Development for the Certification of the Integral Safety Manager. In 2020, Adolfo was responsible for the Safe Hotels and Covid Clean Alliance certification under the program "The Global Hotel Security Standard" and is a Certified Protection Officer (CPO)® certified by IFPO International, in addition to having a master's degree in risk management from EALDE Business School.

Marco Saccucci

In 2019 he joined the team as the General Counsel, responsible for the company's legal activity. Marco contributes to the growth, development, and expansion of the company and ensures the correct execution of the applicable legal provisions to conduct transparent, correct, and compliant processes. His main functions range from the registration and corporate control of more than 100 corporations, authorities, partners, and investor relations, to real estate control, and relations with banks and foreign creditors. He also maintains the regulatory compliance and best corporate governance practices of the Company. As legal representative, he coordinates and represents the company in any type of legal dispute or lawsuit before various authorities. In addition, Marco stands out as a member of the Ethics Committee and its chairman from 2019 to 2021, as well as part of the Sustainability Committee at Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19.

Thanks to his extensive knowledge of corporate, commercial, and financial law in the real estate sector, as well as to his innovative vision, Marco has been able to create, with the help of technological tools, an admirable legal repository for the control, negotiation, and request of contracts by Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, as well as to reschedule 96% of the company's current liabilities, which has allowed for the stability and flow necessary to operate at minimum occupancy during the Health Emergency of 2020. Previously, Marco was part of Grupo Traxion, S.A.B. de C.V. (formerly Grupo Lipu), serving since 2013 as General Counsel.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master's degree with a Special Mention in Corporate Law from the Universidad Anáhuac and has also completed a Specialization in Business Law at the same institution. He recently completed the Diploma course in Finance for Non-Financiers offered by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Sandra Ávalos

In 2006 she joined the company as Director of Human Capital Mexico - LATAM. In Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, she has implemented and managed the Human Resources area at the corporate and hotel levels.

Sandra has dedicated most of her professional career to the hospitality industry, excelling in each of her positions with her talent, problem-solving, vision, and transparency.

She holds a degree in Tourism Business Administration from Universidad Tecnológica de México and an MBA from IEDE Business School Universidad Europea - UVM.

María Heidy de la Cruz Salas

She has more than 15 years of experience in sustainability programs and launching initiatives in the tourism sector and the hospitality industry.

In 2012 she joined the company as coordinator of Processes and Environmental Management, positioning the company as the first worldwide in several sustainability certification processes, obtaining national distinctions such as Empresa Socialmente Responsable (CEMEFI), Distintivo Hotel Hidro Sustentable (HELVEX), Distintivo S (SECTUR) and, due to her standout management, achieving international certifications such as LEED (USGBC) and EDGE (World Bank).

In 2017 she obtained the position of Corporate Sustainability Manager, continuing with achievements and activations of more than 40 initiatives and the implementation of new programs. She is a leader in the inclusion of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards and is in charge of managing the commitment to the climate change strategy, thus achieving the participation of Promotora Norte 19 in sustainable indexes and in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) questionnaire. She has also been a member of various expert groups, including water resilience, diversity and inclusion, and circular economy.
